Job Description
This is a critical leadership position that requires a strong understanding of environmental regulations, health, and safety standards, as well as best practices in EH&S management. The EH&S Manager will oversee the development and implementation of EH&S programs, conduct environmental assessments, risk assessments, and incident investigations, and provide training and education to employees on EH&S practices and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs that comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular environmental assessments, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and environmental impacts.
- Establish and enforce EH&S policies, procedures, and guidelines to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
- Provide training and education to employees on EH&S practices, regulations, and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze EH&S performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for proactive initiatives.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, internal auditors, and external stakeholders on EH&S-related matters.
