Role Overview
The CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) Field Inspector provides daily quality assurance and field inspection oversight for concrete, structural steel, and architectural scopes on a data center construction project. This role ensures all CSA work complies with project specifications, codes, and client quality standards, while supporting timely issue resolution and turnover readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily field inspections of CSA work including:
- Concrete placement, rebar, embeds, and foundations
- Structural steel erection, welding, and bolting
- Framing, drywall, building envelope systems, and architectural finishes
- Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractor QC teams, coordinating inspections, documentation, and quality expectations.
- Identify, document, and communicate quality issues and non‑conformances, ensuring timely correction and re‑inspection.
- Track issue resolution through closure, maintaining accurate inspection and punch documentation.
- Perform TSQMP (Technical Safety & Quality Management Plan) field verification, confirming required quality controls are in place.
- Support readiness and quality checks for major milestones such as:
- Foundation pours
- Steel topping out
- Building envelope close‑in
- Interior turnover
Required Qualifications
- Experience in CSA field inspection, QA/QC, or field engineering
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Concrete construction
- Structural steel systems
- Architectural assemblies and finishes
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and submittals
- Experience with field documentation, issue tracking, and follow‑through
- Strong communication skills for coordination with GC and subcontractor teams
- Mission‑critical or data center project experience preferred
Compensation:
$30/hr to $55hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law
