Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
• 5 years of hands-on QA experience within manual (50%) AND automation (50%) testing & defect management
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks, specifically Apache JMeter for performance testing
• Working in an Agile Environment/partaking in scrum stand-ups, etc.
• Experience with API testing and integrated system testing
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, or similar tools

Plusses:

• Experience in Hammer, Blazemeter (next level to JMeter)
• Experience with customer-facing or contact center applications
• Utility industry experience
• SQL, C# and/or Python

Day-to-Day:

The Senior QA Analyst is responsible for supporting end-to-end Quality Assurance activities across a large-scale, customer-facing technology implementation. This role works in close partnership with a QA Lead to support execution of the overall QA strategy, while driving day-to-day testing activities, coordination, and defect management across multiple teams, including business stakeholders, application teams, and vendors.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on QA professional with experience in structured testing (Waterfall or hybrid delivery models), strong coordination skills, and experience with performance & load testing, who can quickly learn business processes and systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support development and execution of Test Strategy and Test Plans
• Coordinate testing activities across business SMEs, application teams, and vendors
• Perform hands-on manual testing including functional, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Execute and maintain performance/load testing using Apache JMeter, BlazeMeter, and similar tools
• Modify and maintain existing storm testing scripts for new APIs and integrations
• Develop and execute performance tests for new integrated business scenarios
• Perform API performance and load testing for individual services and end-to-end workflows
• Support high-volume and peak load validation scenarios
• Lead/support defect triage, tracking, and follow-up activities
• Provide regular test execution and defect status reporting

Contract/Contract-to-Hire Roles:

Compensation:

$52/hr to $62/hr.
