Must-haves:
- 5-8 years of Network Engineering experience
- Azure networking experience including Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, and
hybrid cloud connectivity
- Experience with Infoblox IPAM/DDI, DNS, and DHCP administration
- Strong routing and firewall experience
- Experience with BGP, EVPN, OSPF, EIGRP, and TCP/IP
- Hands-on experience with LAN, routers, switches, wireless, and network security infrastructure
- Strong communicator

Day to day:
Insight Global is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support a large enterprise networking environment. This role is approximately 70% project-focused and 30% operational support. The engineer will manage 2-3 active projects simultaneously, including network deployments at manufacturing sites, infrastructure refreshes, hardware upgrades, new product rollouts, testing, and implementation efforts. Responsibilities include coordinating equipment procurement, obtaining vendor quotes, working alongside project managers, overseeing installations, and validating deployments prior to operational handoff. The engineer will work across routing, switching, wireless, network security, firewalls, unified communications, SD-WAN, and Azure networking technologies. Additional responsibilities include Tier II escalation support, troubleshooting network issues, maintaining network performance, supporting disaster recovery efforts, creating technical documentation, collaborating with vendors, contributing to network roadmaps, and partnering with Site Reliability Engineers on automation initiatives. This person will also serve as a mentor to the operations team, helping develop junior team members while driving best practices across the organization.
