We are seeking a Safety Specialist to support Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives within a fast-paced operational environment. This individual will help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, conduct audits and observations, support incident investigations, and assist with employee safety training. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about maintaining a safe workplace.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related role OR a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety, Occupational Safety, or a related field
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910
- Professional experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with employees at all levels
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- OSHA Certifications
- Safety Certifications
- HAZWOPER experience/certifications
- Experience in industrial environment
- Experience Training Employees
Compensation:
$25/hr -$42.82/hr
