Title: RPA Engineer
Duration: 12-month contract with likely extensions
Pay Rate: $55-$65/hr
Location: Fully Onsite, Oklahoma City, OK
Must-Haves:
- 3 years of automation development, software development, systems integration, or related experience
- Strong experience with UiPath Studio and UiPath Orchestrator
- Experience designing and supporting attended and unattended automations
- Experience with workflows, queues, triggers, retries, exception handling, logging, deployment, monitoring, and testing
- Experience managing Orchestrator environments, assets, credentials, service accounts, permissions, and production configurations
- Experience building reusable automation components, libraries, templates, and development standards
- Experience with UiPath REFramework or similar enterprise automation framework
- Strong SQL and database skills
- Proven experience troubleshooting production bot failures and conducting root-cause analysis
- Experience owning the full automation lifecycle from requirements through production support
- Daily professional use of Cursor as a development tool
- Experience using Cursor for code generation, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, and repository navigation
- Ability to validate AI-generated output and maintain strong testing, security, documentation, and version control practices
- Understanding of secure AI-assisted development practices around proprietary and sensitive enterprise data

Day-to-Day:
- Build new UiPath automations from validated business requirements through production deployment
- Support, troubleshoot, stabilize, and improve existing production bots
- Use Cursor daily to accelerate development, debugging, testing, refactoring, documentation, and integration efforts
- Partner with business process owners, business analysts, IT teams, and security/infrastructure stakeholders
- Design, develop, test, document, deploy, and support enterprise automation solutions
- Investigate bot failures and implement durable corrective actions
- Develop reusable automation assets and maintain development standards
- Support release management, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, supportability, and operational standards

Insight Global is seeking a UiPath & Cursor Developer for a top energy industry client. This individual will serve as a hands-on automation developer responsible for building, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade UiPath automations. The ideal candidate will possess strong UiPath Studio and Orchestrator expertise, advanced SQL skills, and proven experience using Cursor as part of their daily software development workflow. This role will focus on delivering new automations, supporting existing production bots, integrating with enterprise systems and databases, and ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and production-ready. The successful candidate will be a strong individual contributor who can work independently while collaborating effectively with business and technical stakeholders across the organization.
Compensation:
$55-$65/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
