Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join a manufacturing company based in West Hartford, CT. The Supplier Quality Engineer will have oversight of developing and implementing a Supplier Quality Program and ensuring all suppliers follow the process to drive production efficiency and minimize cost of poor supplier quality. In this role, this individual will collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Continuous Improvement to ensure best in class supplier quality for new product introduction and manufacturing.
Required Skills & Experience
-Supplier Quality Engineering experience in the aerospace/ defense industry.
-Hands-on experience with supplier audits, First Article Inspections (FAIs), supplier assessments, and corrective action processes.
-Strong knowledge of ISO/AS9100 standards and GD&T experience required
-Bachelors, Mechanical Engineering OR Computer Sciences
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
