Position: Project Manager/Engineer - Water

Location: Newark, DE (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Engineer with a proven background in the water and wastewater industry to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects that enhance water infrastructure and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of engineering projects, including investigations, design, permitting, financial oversight, and construction management.
• Oversee projects related to: Surface and groundwater supply, Water treatment systems, Pumping and distribution facilities, and some Wastewater collection, pumping, transmission, treatment, and disposal
• Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate alternatives, and develop recommendations with detailed engineering estimates for capital improvements.
• Monitor and review financial performance of assigned capital projects weekly.
• Provide technical guidance across departments and serve as a resource for engineering best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 5 years of project management or engineering experience
• Direct experience in the water/wastewater industry

Preferred Credentials:

• PE (Professional Engineer) license
• EIT (Engineer in Training) certification

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 (based on experience and education)
