What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Owner position at Insight Global?
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner - Akeneo PIM to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our Product Information Management (PIM) platform. This individual will serve as the business owner for Akeneo, driving the roadmap, prioritizing enhancements, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve product data management, product content syndication, and omnichannel customer experiences.
The Product Owner will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring Akeneo continues to serve as the organization's single source of truth for product information while supporting growth across eCommerce, retail, marketplace, wholesale, and global distribution channels.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Systems Product leadership experience.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Akeneo PIM or a comparable PIM platform.
- Strong understanding of product information management, product lifecycle management, and master data concepts.
- Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, and Agile delivery teams.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into product features and solutions.
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce, digital merchandising, omnichannel commerce, and product content management.
- Experience working with system integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
Salary : $80 - $120
