Shifts: Full Time - 5 days of 7.5 hour day shifts (between Monday to Saturday)

*part time avail too for 2-3 days per week

Retail Research Participant (Secret Shopper)

Contract | Boston, MA

We’re hiring Retail Research Participants to support an in‑store research study across the Boston area. In this role, you’ll represent real customers by visiting retail locations (such as grocery stores) and completing natural shopping experiences that are filmed for product research and development.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in user research, UX, retail experience, or field studies who are comfortable engaging in real‑world environments and supporting a structured research initiative. No acting experience required, authenticity is key.

You’ll work closely with a research team, travel to different local store locations, and occasionally assist with light setup tasks to help sessions run smoothly.

Project Details:

* Dates: May 4 - End of June

* Full Time Schedule: 5 day shifts (including Saturdays)

* Part Time Schedule: 2-3 days (7.5 hour shifts)

* Working Hours per day: 7-7.5 per day, day shifts

* Locations: One location per shift; locations vary daily across Boston, MA.

Required Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using phones and computers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to help set up equipment for the daily sessions
• Valid drivers license and a personal vehicle
• Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Requirements

• Comfortable being filmed and recorded; must sign a consent form
• Able to commute daily to different Boston-area worksites
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle
• Willing to assist with light tasks (e.g., unloading camera equipment)
