Position Summary
We are hiring multiple Senior Mainframe Developers to join a newly funded initiative supporting Global Wealth & Investment Management (GWIM) platforms. These roles are part of a strategic buildout focused on maintaining and evolving core mainframe applications as legacy experts transition out of the organization.
You’ll be responsible for hands-on development, production support, and technical leadership across a portfolio of high-impact applications. This includes incident management, root cause analysis, operational readiness, and coordination with global teams. Candidates must bring deep COBOL expertise and a proactive mindset to drive resolution and knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on development and support across COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, IMS DB/DC, MQ Series, and Easytrieve
- Lead troubleshooting, escalation management, and root cause analysis for complex production issues
- Support operational readiness, monitoring, analytics, and governance across 100 applications (with focus on 6 critical systems)
- Facilitate meetings, moderate technical discussions, and coordinate with offshore/onshore teams
- Participate in 24x7 incident and problem management rotation
- Contribute to change configuration management and associate support
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to SME-level knowledge development
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks, escalate issues, and drive resolution
Salary : $60 - $70
