The primary focus initially will be supporting the implementation and management of a SolarWinds network monitoring tool, with the opportunity to grow into broader networking responsibilities over time. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and grow into a Network Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation and ongoing management of SolarWinds monitoring tool
- Monitor network health and assist with issue identification
Gain hands-on experience with:
- Routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting (Tier 1–2 support)
- Support LAN/WAN environments (IP addressing, VLANs, etc.)
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve network-related issues
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
- Gradually expand into broader network administration responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- 0–3 years of IT or networking experience
- Familiarity with network fundamentals: IP address, switch, firewalls, networking protocols, etc.
Nice To Have
Exposure to:
- Network monitoring tools
- Cisco / Meraki environments
- Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira)
- Wireless networking basics
- Basic firewall configurations
Compensation:
$25/hr to $40/hr with conversion between 55-80K
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Salary : $30 - $40
