A large healthcare system is seeking a Level 2 Deployment Technician to support a major device modernization effort in Pendleton, OR. This project involves replacing and upgrading end-of-life desktops and laptops across healthcare facilities.

What This Role Offers

Key Responsibilities
- Execute full device deployment workflows for desktops and laptops
- Perform imaging and configuration, including Windows 11 upgrades and legacy device support
- Install and configure workstations, including peripherals and cable management
- Conduct system validation and ensure full functionality prior to user handoff
- Provide onsite and remote troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Support printer installation and troubleshooting
- Maintain asset tracking, inventory records, and deployment documentation
- Track and document all work performed in designated systems
- Ensure compliance with deployment processes and timelines
- Provide professional, customer-focused support to end-users
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in desktop support, PC technician, or similar role
- Strong experience with LAN/WAN troubleshooting
- Deep understanding of computer hardware and systems
- Experience working in healthcare environments
- Experience supporting enterprise IT environments
- Experience with remote troubleshooting tools and processes
- Knowledge of data security and privacy principles
- Printer support experience
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Strong organization and time management abilities
- Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A certification
- Experience with enterprise deployment or device refresh projects
- Familiarity with Windows imaging and configuration
Work Environment
This position is fully onsite within healthcare facilities and requires hands-on work setting up and troubleshooting IT equipment.
$27 - $31 per hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
