What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heating Air Conditioning Technician position at Insight Global?
Must Haves:
- Active Secret Clearance or willing to obtain secret
- Maryland Master HVAC License, or Journeyman HVAC License (can be either Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania)
- 3 years of experience as a Journeyman and a minimum of 1875 hours worked
- Experience working on existing and install of new HVAC systems, troubleshooting, wiring, control circuits, industrial machinery, etc.
- Experience working with Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems (i.e. - JCI Metasys, Honeywell Tritium, Schneider Electric Continuum)
Day-To-Day: This ideal candidate will be maintaining and troubleshooting critical HVAC/R, mechanical, and control systems that support labs, facilities, and operations in Ft. Detrick, MD. You’ll work hands-on with advanced equipment, automation, and electrical systems, often independently solving real-world problems that directly impact readiness and safety. This role is perfect for a technician who enjoys responsibility, technical challenges, and being part of something bigger than the job itself.
Salary : $50 - $55
