Geologist

We are seeking a Senior Geologist with a Professional Engineer (PE) license and 12 years of experience in environmental and geotechnical projects. This role combines advanced technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, supporting complex projects in solid waste management, remediation, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer of Record for geotechnical and environmental projects, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Lead design and oversight of landfill infrastructure, slope stability, foundation systems, and groundwater remediation.
• Prepare and review technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory submittals.
• Manage Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, hydrogeologic characterization, and contaminant transport evaluations.
• Oversee construction quality assurance (CQA) for geotechnical and environmental systems.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance across multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage in business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including HAZWOPER protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in applicable state(s).
• 12 years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, or related fields.
