Title: Fire Alarm Service Technician
Pay: $28-35/hr
Office Location: Chantilly
Travel: Whole DMV
- Company Vehicle: after 6 months
- Gas: after 6 months
Ideal location they sit: Southern MD
Day to Day:
Will be driving to different project sites around the DMV to do servicing and inspecting of various fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
Job Description:
Responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing fire alarm and life safety systems to ensure code compliance and system reliability. Performs routine and corrective maintenance, identifies deficiencies, completes required documentation, and communicates findings to customers. Supports both scheduled inspections and service calls while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Must Haves:
- 5 YOE in fire alarm systems; 3 if they have a NICET
- Ability to read blueprints and design drawings
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills
