Job Description
The Electrical Training Specialist will be responsible for developing, delivering, and facilitating instructor-led and virtual technical, safety, and power systems trainings.
This role requires close collaboration with EHS, HR, and Operations leaders to ensure the employee training and learning experience aligns with safety, onboarding, and technical upskilling needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deliver, and facilitate instructor-led and virtual technical, safety, and power systems trainings.
- Contribute to the EESS training department, supporting and coordinating training events, including setup, scheduling, travel, equipment, and material needs.
- Create, maintain, and update curricula, lesson plans, and classroom reference materials.
- Work closely with EHS, HR, and Operations leaders to ensure alignment with safety, onboarding, and technical upskilling needs.
- Evaluate student performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 4 years of experience evaluating, testing, installing, or maintaining industrial and commercial power systems equipment.
- Experience operating electrical equipment or performing preventative maintenance.
- Familiarity with isolation testing and primary circuit resistance testing.
- Knowledge of switchboards and switchgear.
- Knowledge of panel boards.
