- High or low voltage electrical experience
- Understanding the basics of Electrical Engineering o Basics of motors, basic physics, how transformers work, compressors
- Strong communication experience & strong personality
- Ability to drive their own projects, no traditional project management team on-site
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer for one of our top manufacturing clients in the Cedar Rapids, IA area. This Electrical Engineer will be responsible for leading 3-5 large projects at a time while initiating, designing, vendor selection, scheduling and monitoring the project throughout it’s life cycle. They will be managing, filling out funding paperwork and other responsibilities within the projects. The rest of their day will be spent focusing on improving quality on processes and materials as well as supporting general technical work on equipment and working with the Process team. This could look like researching and conducting investigations on the floor to identify new opportunities to improve on ramp up time, speed, and ability to execute. This person will need to passionate about problem-solving and taking ownership over new ideas and was to better processes and equipment. For someone to be successful in this role they need to have a growth mindset and a passion for consistent learning. Continuing to be creative and curious will be necessary in the day-to-day tasks.
Compensation:
$70,000to $90,000 per year annual salary.
