What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracts Specialist position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is looking for a Contracts Specialist to join a large education client in the San Francisco Bay Area. This individual will be working in a hybrid role, expecting to be onsite 2-3 times per week. The Contracts Specialist should have a background in an academic or research setting, and familiar with grants and / or funded projects.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience working in an academic or research setting, working with research contracts, grants, and sponsored projects.
- Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of contracts and grants, from initiation and negotiation through to execution and closeout.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with researchers, faculty, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts and agreements with high attention to detail, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
