Financial Analyst - LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY

JO #362 - We are seeking a Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for this rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities for the Senior Analyst - FP&A role:

• Deliver financial analysis with recommendations for action to senior management with regard to emerging financial and strategic issues as well as those relating to new business activities
• Provide critical financial analysis relating to the strategic plan and the annual operating plan, including advising functional areas regarding reporting framework, guidelines and assumptions
• Work, on a daily basis, with business segment leadership analyzing and assessing current and future business and financial risks, opportunities and requirements
• Hands-on with budgeting and planning activities including working with sophisticated financial models, performing sensitivity analysis and forecasting.
• Develop and implement methods and techniques to improve forecasting, financial evaluations and analyses, financial processes and system functionality
• Analyze monthly and quarterly results against budget and forecasts to ensure the reasons for variances are fully understood, making recommendations for actions where needed and updating forecasting methodology to reduce variances to expectations.
• Provide technical direction and/or training to management and other financial personnel
• Driving the annual financial planning and ensuring reliable quarterly forecasting processes including a well-managed drill with key business partners (local team) and Corporate.
• Developing and coordinating quarterly business reviews with management.
• Work with the sales and management team on identifying pipeline opportunities.

Requirements for the Senior Analyst - FP&A role:

• 4 years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
• Masters of Business Administration preferred
• The ability to analyze and make recommendations on relevant financial issues or trends in a fast-paced environment
• Ability and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Possess the business acumen to impact and influence key stakeholders and drive business strategy
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
