What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer / Project Coordinator position at Insight Exhibits?
Insight Exhibits is a full-service exhibit house creating impactful environments for trade shows, museums, tech, medical conferences, and more. Every project is different, and our team thrives on bringing ideas to life in a fast-paced, creative setting. We’re looking for a Graphic Designer / Project Coordinator who is both detail-obsessed and highly organized—someone who enjoys blending creativity with execution.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of preparing artwork for production while helping drive projects forward by coordinating timelines, vendors, and communication. If you enjoy seeing your work come to life in large-scale, real-world applications, this is a unique opportunity to be part of it.
What You’ll Do
- Design and prepare graphics for exhibits and large-format print
- Ensure artwork is production-ready (size, resolution, bleeds, accuracy)
- Communicate with clients to gather and approve artwork, on-schedule
- Coordinate timelines with internal teams and external vendors
- Help manage vendor workflow to meet critical deadlines
- Work with the fabrication team on quality control of vendor produced graphics, including checking for cut, color accuracy, and potential damage
- Support logistics including graphic deliveries and pickups
- Collaborate across teams to keep projects moving efficiently
- Jump in where needed—including occasional after-hours approvals
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 1–2 years of design, production, or coordination experience
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Solid understanding of layout, file setup, and pre-press for large format
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to learn
If you’re looking for a role where creativity meets execution—and where your work makes a visible impact—we’d love to hear from you.
