We are looking for an energetic & friendly Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team in our Escondido, CA dental office. We are a private, highly rated Dental Group office with patient care as a number one priority.
Our Dental Assistant's provide a positive patient experience and excellent quality care. They work closely with our dentists to ensure that patients are calm, dentists are prepared, and information is communicated clearly. They can expect to prepare and arrange needed tools and instruments for scheduled procedures. Hands necessary tools and equipment and provides assistance during treatment. Charts findings, change barriers, and sterilizes equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Provides prompt dental support; promotes a smooth patient flow; collects and records data accurately; maintains order of the back office, equipment and supplies.
- Helps make sure patients and families get the care they need when they need it.
- Works flexible or extended hours where necessary.
- Abides by Rules of Confidentiality.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
- High School graduate or GED
- Completed training program in Dental Assisting from Accredited College is required
- X-Ray certificate is required
- Current CPR Certification
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
- Possess a valid Driver’s license
- Registered Dental Assistant Certification (Required)
- Coronal Polishing Certification
PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience, preferred

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Able to quickly build and maintain rapport with patients and providers; team player

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Update and maintain patient records using dental software systems
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Schedule patient appointments
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in using dental software systems (Denticon, Eaglesoft)
- Understanding of anatomy and dental anatomy
- Ability to take accurate dental impressions and perform dental imaging

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
