Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Health Care Policy News Reporter based in Arlington, VA, with flexibility for some remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and reporting on healthcare policy developments, covering regulatory changes, legislative actions, and emerging trends. Responsibilities include writing news articles, conducting interviews, analyzing policy documents, and developing compelling stories tailored to Inside Washington Publishers’ audience.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Reporting and News Writing
- Experience with Journalism and Writing
- Proficiency in crafting and editing Press Releases
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of U.S. healthcare policy and government processes is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Political Science, or a related field
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a newsroom environment
