Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and floor polishers efficiently and safely.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation protocols according to health standards, ensuring all surfaces are disinfected and maintained properly.
• Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items for clients.
• Handle heavy lifting and manual handling of furniture or appliances with proper techniques to prevent injury.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios or entryways, using appropriate outdoor cleaning tools.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service tailored to residential housekeeping expectations.
• Use cleaning detergents responsibly, following safety guidelines for storage and disposal to promote a safe working environment.
• Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Assist with housekeeping management duties as needed, including inventory checks for cleaning supplies and equipment maintenance.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, preferably with janitorial or custodial background.
• Experience with commercial or hotel cleaning environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with various cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor polishing, dusting, and surface sanitation.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and maintenance is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to handle outdoor work environments when required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and preferences.
• Prior experience managing multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling activities involved in housekeeping tasks.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
