Installation Technician (MDU)
We seek a detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our team in the Minneapolis metro area. In this role, you will be responsible for completing service orders, installing communication systems, and ensuring residents have seamless internet connectivity for our customers in Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs), such as apartment complexes and condos.
Location: Roseville, MN (Assigned Local Area)
Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Status: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities

MDU Installations: Assist with the installation of facility wiring within multi-unit buildings

Service & Training: Greet customers professionally, complete tasks accurately, and provide essential training to residents on how to use their new systems
Qualifications

Experience: One year of in-person customer interaction experience

Education: A certificate or degree in a technical field (e.g., basic electronics) is a plus

Licensing: Must possess a valid Class D Driver's License with a clean driving record

Certifications: Willingness to obtain "Registered Unlicensed" and "PLT" certifications; a Power Limited License is a plus

Skills: Strong proficiency with hand tools, computer operations (email, databases), and professional communication
Physical Requirements & Environment

Activity: A typical day involves a mix of sitting (3 hrs), standing (2 hrs), and walking (3 hrs)

Lifting: Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

Conditions: Must be comfortable working in confined spaces (crawl spaces/attics), navigating weather conditions, and ladder work

Flexibility: Occasional work outside of normal business hours and local travel is required.
