The Department of Surgery and the Cardiovascular Center at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville (UF COM-J), is seeking an up to full-time Vascular surgeon at the non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. The Department of Surgery and the Cardiovascular Center boasts a team of board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons and vascular surgeons who work side by side to care for patients with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular conditions at UF Health Jacksonville - a tertiary care teaching hospital and a regional referral center for specialty care. The mission and vision of the department is to be the region's most valued surgical health care asset, with the nation's best surgical care at your doorstep.
The Department of Surgery and the Cardiovascular Center are extremely active clinically, academically and educationally. Pioneering innovative approaches to the management of vascular trauma, we are poised for significant growth in vascular care as we expand the elective surgical practice throughout the Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia region. We are seeking a candidate with broad clinical experience in vascular surgery with a particular interest in endovascular therapies. The candidate must be MD or DO, Board Certified/Eligible in Vascular Surgery with experience in all aspects of the evaluation and treatment of aortic diseases, lower extremity occlusive disease, complex hemodialysis access, and the full spectrum of venous diseases. Major responsibilities include patient care, teaching, and research.
This position will academically report to the Chairman of the Department of Surgery and operationally to the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Center at the -UF COM-J. Every faculty member in the department will have a mentoring team assigned to them and participate in the department wide faculty development program.

- Participate in monthly division meetings, administrative functions and institutional committees as requested.
