Job Description

• Build and test solar distillation modules using real and synthetic produced water
• Collect and analyze field samples from the Permian Basin
• Conduct experiments to evaluate the effects of oil-related compounds and chemical additives
• Contribute to education module development for K–12 and undergraduate outreach
• Collaborate on publications, conference presentations, and Lab Night demonstrations
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Civil and Mechanical Engineering majors preferred
• Other majors (e.g., computer science, chemistry) are welcome to contribute to experiment
• apparatus development, engineering module development, and outreach support
• Must be dependable, curious, and available, average 5 hours/week for Fall/Spring
  
  

Salary

$13.25
