Job Summary
This is manual work involving working in a variety of weather conditions. This position provides maintenance to the campus grounds.
Responsibilities
Landscaping Duties -
Clean and blows off sidewalks, gutters, storm drains and steps.
Rakes and loads grass and bushes; mows lawns and cleans grounds; waters plants and assists in the care of shrubs, flowers and grass.
Makes sure trash is picked up around campus.
May operate chainsaws and assist with tree removal.
Performs related work as required with building maintenance, grounds and custodians.
Utility Duties -
Sets up and takes down bleachers, floating chairs, and other furniture and equipment for student registrations, meetings and other events.
Moves furniture and equipment and performs related custodial work.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
GED or High School Diploma.
Other Required Qualifications
Valid Driver's License.
Required Experience
1-year experience working in related field.
Proposed Salary
Commensurate with Experiences.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to exhibit a positive attitude and to deal with coworkers, students, faculty and staff tactfully and courteously in order to maintain effective service-oriented relationships.
Ability to communicate effectively and follow oral and written instructions.
KNOWLEDGE
Experience in performing manual work.
