Position OverviewThis position supports the overall production efforts within the Department of Theatre and Dance. Primary responsibilities include assisting with the creation and assembly of production elements and contributing to the upkeep and organization of workspaces and related facilitiesJob Description80% – Scenic Construction and InstallationAssist with the fabrication, assembly, and installation of scenic elements for departmental productions, following design specifications and safety protocols.
20% – Shop Maintenance and OrganizationSupport the upkeep, organization, and general maintenance of production workspaces, tools, and equipment within the Department of Theatre and Dance.

Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in scenic construction, theatric safety protocols, and production environments as indicated on application materials.
- Proficient with standard hand and power tools used in scenery construction as indicated on application materials.
- Basic carpentry skills and experience with common construction materials as indicated on application materials.
- This is an hourly/non-exempt position.
