Responsibilities
Supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Family programs including Family Weekend, and works with event logistics, registration, and promotional materials, serving as a resource for campus and community partners.
Creates, edits, and works with the FSU Family Connection platform (CampusESP) by curating timely, relevant content and curriculum for families; collaborates with campus partners to develop and share their own content on the platform; and provides training and support to partners on how to use the system effectively to engage families. Participates in division-wide and university-wide marketing communities and committees.
Assists with the formal on-campus and community partnerships program to support programs, specifically orientation, signature events, and Family Weekend. This includes outreach, relationship building, follow-up, and documentation of efforts and results.
Contributes to the overall work of New Student & Family Programs by participating in departmental events including Orientation and Family Weekend, committee work, and cross-functional projects; assisting with special initiatives; and serving as a liaison to campus partners as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in student affairs, higher education, or related field and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and six years of related experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's preferred.
