Nature & Purpose Of Position
- Proficiency in R and Python for statistical computing and data analysis
- Experience with large-scale public health datasets (BRFSS, NHANES, SEER) including complex survey design and weighted analysis
- Applied knowledge of regression modeling (linear, logistic, weighted), ANOVA, and non-parametric methods
- Machine learning experience including classification, feature selection, class imbalance handling, and model evaluation (AUC, precision-recall)
- NLP (Natural Language Processing) experience: pipeline development including text normalization, lemmatization, vectorization, and classification.
- Familiarity with statistical validation techniques including chi-square testing and ANOVA
- Experience with data visualization using ggplot2 and Python libraries for research-quality figures
- Ability to work independently, manage project timelines, and produce written research summaries
