Nature & Purpose Of Position
This position’s duties may include:Teaching Assistant (Lab TA)
- Presenting an introduction to the physics concepts and laboratory techniques at the beginning of each lab session
- Monitoring student progress and providing assistance and encouragement as needed
- Keeping accurate records of student attendance
- Collecting pre-lab assignments at the start of lab and post-lab reports at the end of the session
- Responding promptly and effectively to student emails
- Grading all assignments
- Submitting grades to instructors in a timely manner
- Grading assignments as requested by the instructor.
