Job Description98%- Childcare Services
- Provide high-quality care and support for children in a childcare setting. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with KDHE licensing regulations
- Engaging with children at an appropriate developmental level
- Implementing positive behavior management strategies
- Collecting and maintaining accurate data related to child development and program activities
- Support and collaborate with other staff members to maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing environment for all children.
- Must have completed at least 3 clock hours of child development training, or indicate in application materials a willingness to complete this training prior to the start date.
- Willingness to obtain pediatric First Aid certification within 30 days of employment, as indicated in application materials
- Willingness to obtain pediatric CPR certification within 30 days of employment, as indicated in application materials
- Previous experience working with children, as indicated in application materials.
- This is an hourly/non-exempt position. A student employee cannot hold an hourly/non-exempt position and a salaried/exempt graduate or undergraduate position (GRA/GTA/GA/RUA/RGA) concurrently.Additional Candidate InstructionsA complete application must include:
