The Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement is seeking a motivated and reliable Student Assistant. This position will support the office in various clerical tasks, event preparation, and projects related to alumni engagement. Confidentiality is essential in this role. The Student Assistant will also participate in Alumni TEALgates during home football games.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in Alumni TEALgates during home football games.
- Assist with event preparation, including set-up, registration, and other logistical tasks.
- Assemble, stuff, and mail materials as needed.
- Organize supply closets and maintain inventory levels.
- Aid in updating the office’s social media pages.
- Deliver materials and paperwork across campus.
- Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Must be a current student in good academic standing, dependable and professional.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work independently.
- Professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Previous experience in an office or event planning role is a plus.
- Flexible hours that accommodate your class schedule, with a maximum 20 hours per week.
- Availability to work during home football games for Alumni TEALgates.
