Job Summary
The Office of the Registrar is seeking a Student Assistant who will work closely with Registrar staff and MGA students assisting with daily clerical and graduation tasks. Student Assistant will have the ability to navigate and abide by MGA institutional polices. Student Assistant will report directly to the Macon Campus Assistant Registrar. This is a part-time position working up to 19 hours a week.

Responsibilities
- Scan, file, copy, mail, shred, and retrieve documents as required by the Office of the Registrar Staff.
- Assist students, alumni, and other MGA patrons at the front counter as necessary.
- Maintain acceptable and professional quality phone service and productivity performance.
- Maintain FERPA compliance.
- Performs graduation duties as assigned by the Graduation Coordinator including preparation for the graduation ceremony and post-graduation tasks.
- Must be currently enrolled student in at least 6 credit hours at Middle Georgia State University
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
- Must comply with (FERPA) strict confidentiality of information
- Priority given to student applicants who successfully exited Learning Support courses
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite with an aptitude to learn imaging systems.
- Professional and effective oral and written communication skills that align with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with the population.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
