Primary Purpose Of The Organizational Unit:
CNNC advances the capacity of immigrants and refugees by building bridges between immigrant populations and existing communities throughout NC via community-based outreach and advocacy, educational programming, research and evaluation, immigrant and refugee leadership development, cultural brokering, and educational opportunities for faculty and students.
Position Summary:
This position will oversee the strategic development and implementation of Community Center programming at the CNNC, assist with establishing and maintaining community relations with key community partners, and contribute to marking and fundraising plans in addition to seeking external funding to assist with community center support and sustainability.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a social science field or a Bachelor’s degree in social science field with three years experience working with at risk and immigrant communities.
- Must be proficient in spoken and written English and have an extensive knowledge and experience working with NC Immigrant communities.
- Must have experience in Cross Cultural Human Services or comparable training and have a knowledge of the North Carolina Human Services systems.
- A valid NC Driver’s license is required.
- Fluency in English and at least one other language.
- Experience with the local refugee and immigrant population and understanding of best. practices in cultural brokering.
- Training in trauma-informed care and cultural humility.
- Experience with grant reporting and data management.
- Experience with immigrant-related case management.

- Develop, implement, and evaluate programming at Community Centers, identifying community need, relevant interventions, and performance measures.
- Serve as the main connection and facilitator of concerns and issues regarding the Community Centers Program to the CNNC Director and Associate Director of Community Support Services.

- Provide direct supervision to community member staff and indirect, second-line supervision of AmeriCorps members, interns, and volunteers.

- Oversight and coordination of EICC through development and implementation of programming.
- This position will develop programs and coordinate services to meet changing community needs using evidence-based practices.
Grant Management
Essential Tasks:
- Maintain/oversee necessary documentation and administrative records to meet grant and university requirements.
- Participate in meetings with funders and in planning for future program activities.
- Develop and grant reports and ensure that grant requirements are met.
- Monitor internal program budgets, reconcile expenses, and submit invoices.

Essential Tasks:
- Establish and maintain relationships with community partners collaborating with Community Centers. Serve as central contact for Community Centers.
- Attend local meetings as a representative for CNNC.
Fund Development and Grant Writing

- Identify external funding sources in line with the mission of the Community Center Program and the CNNC.
- Collaborate and contribute to grants funding the community center program.
