Job Summary
The Gensel lab has a position for a Scientist II who will be responsible for basic and translational experiments focused on traumatic brain and spinal cord injury.
Duties include mouse colony/lab resource management, animal stereotactic spinal cord and brain surgery, animal behavior, brain and tissue processing, histology, protein and RNA isolation, immunohistochemistry, image quantification, western blot, ELISA, qPCR, and cell culture. This individual will also be responsible for collecting data, analyzing the results, and the preparation of data/study for publications, grant submissions, and meeting presentations. The individual will also assist in lab leadership and administration.
