Description
The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Expertise is required in the specific area of traumatic brain injury (TBI) research, including experience in pre-clinical modeling of TBI and translation of preclinical neuropathological findings to clinical neuropathology of TBI. Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include developing an independent research enterprise that focuses on traumatic brain injury research.
The preferred applicant will also have the opportunity to supervise/mentor undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral trainees.
