What you will be doing
Develops and manages a database for tracking students in all baccalaureate programs
Collects, generates, and uses databases to generate routine and customized reports for the School of Education (SOE)
Disseminates surveys and aggregates data
Assists in preparing reports; such as, for FLDOE, accrediting agencies, and MDC
Submits aggregated data to the Director of Assessment in the SOE
Assists with detailed technical reports on program effectiveness, student learning outcomes, planning, accreditation, research projects, and grants for decision making
Processes new admissions to baccalaureate and purges rolls of inactive students
Verifies for the graduation committee and School Dean how many students will graduate with baccalaureate degrees for the commencement program
Maintains alumni database by contacting graduates
Assists with logistical and technical aspects of fingerprinting background clearance, clinical experience database, and other services as needed
Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems encountered in various platforms
Performs other duties as assignedWhat you need to succeed

- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and one (1) year of related work experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of related work experience
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Microsoft office software and specific computer programs related to area of responsibility
- Ability to write macros for tracking students
- Knowledge of database development and management, program software, MS Office, and Network systems
- Knowledge of statistical procedures
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Possess accurate and detail-oriented reporting skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects with quick turnaround time
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which may include evening and weekend assignments
- Ability to work well with students, faculty and staff
