The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University is inviting applications for a postdoctoral position focused on nanomechanics of structural materials. This position offers exceptional career development opportunities and training in cutting-edge technologies related to the development of advanced structural materials for extreme environments. The research will center on the development of advanced structural materials and manufacturing techniques with experimental and/or modeling approaches. Key responsibilities include conducting research, writing technical papers, and assisting in proposal development. Applicants should have a proven track record of research experience, including published peer-reviewed journal articles during their PhD studies.
Qualifications
Qualifications Ph.D. in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or other closely related field of Engineering.
