The department has a growing enrollment and a collaborative, energetic faculty engaged in quality research and with a strong focus on high-quality teaching and student engagement.
Job Summary
The Department of Economics and Finance at the University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a part-time faculty position in economics in the Mike Cottrell College of Business (MCCB).

Responsibilities
- The most likely teaching schedule for this position will be one section of Economics of Financial Literacy (ECON 1101) on the Cumming campus.
- Use of innovative teaching and learning techniques to provide high-quality learning experiences for our students is expected.
- Master's degree in economics with at least 18 credit hours of graduate-level coursework in economics or a commensurate level of professional experience in such fields.
- A successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to engage students in the learning environment.
