Job Summary Atlanta Metropolitan State College is seeking a detail-oriented and student-focused Part-Time Registrar¿s Office Assistant to support CRM operations and the processing of applications for readmission. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for returning students by maintaining accurate records, managing communication workflows, and assisting with readmission processes.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update student records within the College¿s CRM and student information systems
Process applications for readmission, including reviewing documentation and verifying eligibility requirements
Communicate with prospective returning students regarding application status, deadlines, and next steps
Ensure compliance with FERPA and institutional policies when handling student records
Track and manage CRM workflows, tasks, and communications related to readmission
Collaborate with Admissions, Academic Advising, and academic departments to facilitate timely decisions
Respond to student inquiries via phone, email, and CRM platforms in a professional and customer-focused manner
Assist with data validation, reporting, and record audits
Provide general administrative support to the Registrar¿s Office as neededRequired Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree *and* One year of related work experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficientlyPreferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a higher education environment
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Element 451, Salesforce, Slate, Banner, or similar systems)
Customer service or administrative support experience
Knowledge of student records or enrollment processesProposed Salary
The proposed Salary for this position is $14.00 - $16.00
