Job Description:
The Brain, Cognition and Development Laboratory in the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida is seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill an hourly OPS position. The person in position will be responsible for helping coordination and daily management of behavioral and cognitive neuroscience assessments (EEG, eye-tracking, behavior) for an NIH-funded research study with infants. The person in this position will work closely with the study team to facilitate all aspects of participant recruitment and data collection. This position includes recruiting participants, scheduling participants, helping run testing sessions, entering, organizing and backing up data; preparing rooms, computers, and research related equipment for testing; communicating study related information to study staff and team; and helping the team with various study related tasks (e.g., cleaning, compliance, ordering, working with departmental staff, room scheduling, documentation, manuscript/grant report preparation, etc).
Expected Salary:
$15.00 to $18.00 per hour for 20 to 25 hours per week.
