Position Summary
The Department of Radiation Oncology in the School of Medicine at UNC-Chapel Hill invites applications for a tenure or non-tenure track faculty position (track and rank dependent on qualifications) with a focus on gynecologic malignancies inclusive of brachytherapy, at our Chapel Hill campus. We are seeking candidates with a strong interest in academic research, including laboratory research, clinical translational research. Candidates must possess MD degree with subspecialty training in Radiation Oncology and be ABR certified or eligible.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements
Applicants must possess MD degree (or equivalent) with subspecialty training in Radiation Oncology and be ABR certified or eligible.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
We are seeking candidates with a strong interest in academic research, including laboratory research, clinical translational research and/or physics-based research. The candidate’s primary clinical focus will be gynecologic malignancies inclusive of brachytherapy. The candidate will also focus on one other disease site; this focus will be determined based on candidate interest/expertise and UNC clinical needs. Applicants should have broad clinical abilities and must possess MD degree with subspecialty training in Radiation Oncology and be ABR certified or eligible. Proton experience and radiopharmaceutical authorized user status are desired but not required.
