Responsibilities
This role spends the majority of the day:
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies for all public and employee spaces and restrooms on The Ringling's expansive 66 acre property with a focus on guest experience.
- Completing additional tasks as identified or as instructed by supervisor. Drives custodial golf carts to deliver supplies, carry equipment, and remove trash/recycling.
- Provides information to visitors and responds to questions.
- Performs custodial maintenance projects.
- Performs other duties and assists with special events as assigned.
- 9th grade education or higher.
- Valid driver's license or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods, bend/stoop, work with chemicals, and lift up to 45 lbs. (water cooler bottles).

- Every seven weeks, this role will be required to work Thursday - Monday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM to provide custodial services to the Center for Performing Arts (located on the Ringling Campus).
- This position is based in Sarasota, FL.
- This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.
- This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
