Primary Purpose Of The Organizational Unit:

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro Facilities Operations has the responsibility of providing a wide range of services to all administrative departments, student programs, and all academic schools and departments. These duties are conducted for a campus consisting of over 100 buildings totaling 6 million gross square feet on over 275 acres.

Position Summary:

In general, the Planner/Scheduler is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the University’s preventive maintenance program. Handles project management for small projects that are under $100,000 and that are not under the oversight of the State Construction Office.

Depending on the work environment, the Planner/Scheduler may also lead, or support programs related to sustainable energy practices, asbestos abatement, environmental compliance, refrigerant management, and other key initiatives that align with UNCG’s mission and operational goals.
