Job Functions
Strategic Leadership & Program Development
- Provide strategic direction for the simulation program to ensure alignment with the School of Nursing’s mission and goals.
- Lead the growth and innovation of the Simulation program, positioning it as a regional leader in healthcare education and training.
- Develop and implement a long-term vision for simulation, integrating cutting-edge technology and evidence-based best practices.
- Manage the daily operations of the Simulation Center, including scheduling, equipment use, staffing, and logistics.
- Oversee budget planning, resource allocation, and grant funding, maximizing state and external resources to support program growth.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with faculty, staff, students, vendors, and community partners.
- Communicate ideas, coach, and mentor staff as well as facilitate employment and performance management of Sim Center personnel
- Represent the Simulation Center to internal and external stakeholders, showcasing its impact and fostering collaborative partnerships.
- Coordinate with healthcare systems, vendors, and community partners to enhance experiential learning opportunities.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through data-driven assessment and student outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology, secure funding, and expand programming to meet evolving healthcare needs.
