Responsibilities
The Student Program Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing a broad range of leadership engagement and development programs for the Center for Leadership & Service.
Engages in a portfolio that includes outreach initiatives with an emphasis on leadership engagement and development. Manages student experience programs to ensure students are following program guidelines, being supported in their leadership engagement and development across the Big Bend region, the state of Florida and beyond. This responsibility includes developing goals, objectives, policies and procedures related to these programs.
Serves as a cohort instructor and on the advisory board for the Service Scholar program. Supports advising and individual coaching for students related to leadership development opportunities.
Supervises students including hiring, training, and providing performance feedback on a regular basis. Mentors students on a variety of issues related to leadership engagement and development. Serves on an audit committee and provides additional support as needed to the ServScript program.
Coordinates campus wide leadership development events and initiatives (e.g., Clifton Strengths). Maintains an up-to-date list of leadership engagement opportunities for students and campus partners. Provides support for other leadership engagement and development events as needed at the request of partners.
Serves on department, division, and campus-wide committees as assigned. Initiates and supports creative ideas to move the Center for Leadership & Service forward in its mission and vision. Assists with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and six years of relevant experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Anticipated Salary Range
The anticipated starting salary for this position is in the range of low to mid $40,000’s, commensurate with experience and education.
