Day-to-day, You’ll Be Responsible For
- Assists with local, regional and annual state and national debate competition planning, and post tournament activities
- Maintains accurate lists of participating programs, district and school contacts
- Creates and maintains FCDI calendar of events and shares calendar with FEF staff and participating programs
- Presents the Florida Civics & Debate Initiative mission and programs in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. A combination of education and experience may substitute for the required degree
- Leadership and coaching experience in speech and debate (preferred)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Willingness to take on any project and learn new things
- Time management
- Organizational skills
- Self-motivation
