Job Summary
The Federal Work Study - Testing Services is housed in the Office of Testing Services and reports to the Administrative Assistant III.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions -
Supports the Office of Testing Services staff members
Welcomes, greets and provides assistance to GGC students, faculty, staff and visitors
Assists testing candidates with appointment scheduling, registration and check-in
Answers phones, transfers calls and takes accurate messages
Supports students with guidance in proper test selection
Prepares documents for shredding, copying and scanning
Prepares check-in tables with accurate paperwork for each designated test
Participates in campus events such as Preview Days representing the Office of Testing Services
Manage and maintain confidentiality of sensitive student information in physical and online files
Interact with students through phone and email addressing their questions and concerns
Performs various check-in procedures
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits at Georgia Gwinnett College
Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment.
Must be in good standing with Georgia Gwinnett College and maintain good standing for the duration of employment
Previous experience in customer service
Must be available to work some weekends and evenings
Ability to multitask and prioritize objectives to meet deadlines
Exceptional spoken and written communication skills in English are required. Bilingual preferred
Ability to proactively determine the needs of students and to manage them efficiently
Experience working with and organizing confidential and sensitive information
Proficiency using Google and Microsoft Suite applications
Conditions of Employment
Hiring is contingent upon eligibility to work in the United States and proof of eligibility will be contemporaneously required upon acceptance of an employment offer.
